[Hey, you know how he was coherent over text? That was the result of painstaking effort. He's wasted, and currently sprawled out face down on the couch.]
[He turns his head to face her, face flushed as he gives her a smile. Archons, he's so happy to see her despite his attempts to not be a bother to her.]
Good. I'm going to move us onto the couch, okay, sweetheart?
[ First, she turns her head to kiss his forehead. Then, she very slowly and carefully goes about moving him back onto the couch, lifting him up onto it with her ~secret strength~ and then maneuvering herself to sit such that he can be laying down with his head in her lap. ]
[It's a good thing she's strong, because he's practically boneless as she pulls him up onto the couch. The movement causes his stomach to lurch a bit from disorientation, but after his head is in her lap and he has a few moments to re-center himself the nausea passes.]
[ oh thank god he doesn't throw up on her... She really should have done this from the start, but she'd wanted to get a sense of where he was at, first. Now that she knows he's having quite a tough time of things, she's going to gently rest her hand on his forehead and cast Lesser Restoration. It won't get rid of the drunkenness entirely, but it should at least help with the worst of it. ]

[No such luck. Something something dreamotion don't worry about it.]
The room is spinning.

There was rum in the glaze too...
[ she feels so bad for not thinking about that. ]
Put the journal down and close your eyes, darling. I'll make my way back home to you soon.
no subject
It was still delicious. I'd eat it again, even knowing that.
Don't rush. I'll live.
no subject
I'll make you another one that doesn't have any rum in it. And you can have as much of that as you'd like!
Aren't you so glad your girlfriend can teleport? Just need to stop by the clinic to get some things for you then I'll be there.

I'm serious, take your time. I've survived worse.

Thank you, beloved. I'll see you soon.

Diluc?
[ She'll make her way over to wherever he's chosen to lay down as soon as she gets home, of course. ]
I'm home, moonlight.

Hi.
no subject
Hello... Do you want to rest your head in my lap instead? Would that help?
no subject
You're so beautiful.
no subject
Oh, I see now. You're still drunk, hm?
no subject
[He slides off the couch onto the floor in an entirely ungraceful motion and wraps his arms around her.]
You smell like flowers.
no subject
[ She barely manages to keep him from toppling the both of them over into a heap on the floor by wrapping her arms around him in turn. ]
Do I? It's not too much for you right now, is it?
no subject
[Don't mind him, he's just going to bury his face in her hair.]
The room's still spinning. But you're here.
no subject
This is no good, moonlight... If you're so dizzy, then you should be lying down, not trying to sit like this.
no subject
[His face is still in her hair.]

[ First, she turns her head to kiss his forehead. Then, she very slowly and carefully goes about moving him back onto the couch, lifting him up onto it with her ~secret strength~ and then maneuvering herself to sit such that he can be laying down with his head in her lap. ]
There. Is that better?
no subject
I think so.
no subject
And... How about now?
no subject
That's better.
[He takes her hand and brings it to his lips, pressing a kiss to the back of it.]
I don't deserve you.
no subject
[ She leans down a bit to bring her face as close as she can to his, given their current positioning. ]
Don't say things like that... You wouldn't say that the moon doesn't deserve its stars, would you?
no subject
[It's not.]
You're so magnificent, and I'm drunk...
no subject
[ She sits back up and starts rubbing his head gently. ]
But you don't even need to be drunk to use words like "magnificent" to describe someone, do you? You're so sweet.
